When viewed in light of her professional accomplishments, Molly Fletcher can best be summarized as a trailblazer making monumental strides in a sports industry sector traditionally dominated by men. Since coming to Career Sports & Entertainment in 1996 to support founder Lonnie Cooper's vision to grow and diversify the client representation division, Molly has overseen strategic growth process that has led to the expansion of many areas within the division and the creation of golf, college coaching, NFL coaches divisions and increased the company's client base from 40 to over 150 professional baseball players, managers, NBA coaches, golfers, men's and women's NCAA coaches and media personalities.
While working with high profile clients such as John Smoltz, Jeff Francoeur, Ernie Johnson, Jr., and Tom Izzo on a daily basis, Fletcher's proactive recruiting efforts have helped grow the company's multiple divisions since her arrival. Molly's hands-on approach and personal style helps ensure that the needs of the clients and their families are taken care of at all times, no matter if the athlete is a first-year PGA Tour player or an All-Star Major League Baseball pitcher.
Fletcher's influential stature within the sports agency business stands out even more when taken into account that she is one of the few female client service representatives currently involved in the representation of male professional athletes. Having spent most of her youth playing tennis competitively and competing at Michigan State University (1989-1993), Fletcher is able to connect with her clients on a personal and professional level and always act in their best interests. Her strict code of ethics and strong moral values has made her a valuable figure in her clients' lives and an integral part of their professional success and personal development.
Outside of running a successful sports representation division, Fletcher's personal passion for teaching relationship-building techniques and following her "Five Tools" approach for pursuing any career has enabled many young professionals – from both inside and outside the sports industry - to fulfill their employment dreams. Whether it's helping to identify her readers with the right occupation, or assisting them with the next steps in their career, Fletcher's passion for helping set people up for a positive start to their dream career is unparalleled. In 2008, she authored the book "Your Dream Job Game Plan Five Tools for Becoming Your Own Career Agent" published by JIST.
Fletcher was awarded the Nell Jackson Outstanding Alumna Award from Michigan State University, which is presented annually to a Spartan alumnus whose career, since graduation, has been distinguished not only by outstanding professional accomplishments but also by an exceptional record of community service.
